Personal Price Point: $$ / $$$$ Just Golf

$$$$ / $$$$ Disneyland Experience with all the Bells and Whistles (Food / Drink / Golf)

Top Golf is often dubbed as the Disneyland of golfing, where enthusiasts and casual players alike come together to enjoy good times, good food, and engaging golf games. But is this experience truly as magical as its comparison to Disneyland? Let's delve into the pros and cons of this popular entertainment hub.

The Upside of Top Golf

One of the biggest draws of Top Golf is its ability to offer a unique and entertaining experience for players of all skill levels. Whether you're a seasoned pro or a beginner looking to have some fun, Top Golf's diverse range of games and challenges caters to everyone's preferences. Moreover, the venue provides a vibrant and social atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for group outings, dates, or casual hangouts with friends.

Top Golf Venue

The availability of good food and drinks further enhances the overall experience at Top Golf. From delectable appetizers to refreshing beverages, the venue ensures that players are well taken care of so they can focus on enjoying their time on the green.

The Downside of Top Golf

While Top Golf offers a host of enjoyable activities, it's not without its drawbacks. One of the main concerns for visitors can be the cost. Some may find the overall expenses at Top Golf to be on par with the extravagance of a visit to Disneyland. However, there are ways to mitigate this, with Tuesdays being the most budget-friendly day to visit, often offering discounts of up to half off. Despite this, the overall pricing may still deter budget-conscious individuals from frequenting the venue regularly.

Additionally, the popularity of Top Golf means that it can get crowded, especially on weekends and evenings. This could lead to longer wait times for bays and a more bustling environment, which may not be ideal for those seeking a more relaxed or intimate golfing session.

Just for comparison: I have been on two trips to Top Golf. The first with three people and the cost was roughly $250 with Food, Drink, Tip and Golf. The second experience was with two people at a cost of approximately $170 roughly the same inclusions.

In Conclusion

In summary, Top Golf presents a unique blend of entertainment, dining, and interactive games that set it apart as a must-visit destination for golf enthusiasts and social butterflies alike. The venue's lively ambiance and diverse offerings create a memorable and exciting experience for visitors. While the costs and crowds may pose challenges, savvy visitors can make the most of their time by choosing less busy days and taking advantage of available discounts.

Next time you're looking for a fun-filled outing that combines the excitement of golfing with the vibrancy of a social venue, consider a trip to Top Golf - the Disneyland of golf that promises good times, good food, and good games in equal measure.

Pros: Tuesdays are the cheapest. Just can rent and upgrade to a Calloway top of the line Golf Club set for use for $25. Don't get me wrong, this is a fun spot to just let the day get away (2-hour Bay rentals with the possibility of extension if population is low.)

Cons: Cost, Crowding on the heavy day; such as weekends. The club sets that are provided, doesn't seem they keep a good eye on them as seen in one of my photos where the grip is literally destroyed.
